How does European integration affect gender relations? What are the gender dimensions of the European ensemble of state apparatuses? Why and in which ways is European economic governance gendered? How did European integration change during the COVID-19 pandemic and what do these changes imply for struggles towards gender equality? Discussants: Elisabeth Klatzer, Stefanie Wöhl & Sylvia Walby

What power relations, constraints and openings characterize the EU as a terrain of struggle for social movements and labour? How have labour and social movements shaped the process of European integration?
